After a divorce, most people find that they only have half of what they thought they had. Welcome to the registry service for people quickly approaching the other “Big Day.” Unfortunately, that’s about half of all married couples these days. But don’t let it get you down.

how-can-we-help

Just register for our service and let your friends know what you are losing and/or going to need. If you have a friend that is about to shed that other half, see if they are registered.

It’s a simple registry, just like when you two registered for gifts at different locations prior to the “Big Day”. These are items that were lost/given away or split during the divorce.

Here we combine people who have experienced divorce or know someone who been through a divorce.

We have links here to replace what you need, whether its pots & pans, linens or furniture.

There is even a link for a getaway cruise.

ADVICE

Please always seek professional counseling before “throwing in the towel” and please always remember kids come first. Sometime counseling works to save the marriage and often it doesn’t. When you are ready divorce, you’ll really need good advice. This isn’t only for dealing with the legal issues- but also to ensure you survive the emotional rollerĀcoaster ride of the process itself.

1) Retain a well qualified attorney. (we have provided a list for you)

2) Gather all financial documents (bank statements, wills, life insurance policies etc…)

3) Remain calm, might easier said than done. (calm cool heads prevail)

4) Kids come first (worth repeating)

5) Do not rush. (remember the engagement process took awhile)

6) No one can fully prepare you for the process although support from family and friends

can be crucial. (reach out to them)

7) Do not let it overwhelm you (inhale/exhale repeatedly when needed)

We are here to help you with a small part of the process

Take from it what feels right for you during the various stages of your divorce.
